8 Day Lemosho Route on Kilimanjaro
We climbed Mt Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro Destinations via the Lemosho route. Thanks to the kind and experienced guides Gilberto and William we made it up to Uhuru Peak. The whole team was great, starting with Ambrose who awaited us at the airport, the guides, the chef, the porters... The briefing the day before the climb was quite helpful, as Gilberto told us what additional gear we needed. The poncho and summit trousers, for example, were really important to have. The food on the mountain was amazing, hard to believe that the chef Adam was able to prepare three-course menus with just one stove. When we came down from the summit to the basecamp quite late, a handful of porters came towards us and carried our daypacks for us, as we were really exhausted.
